There are many metaphors and sayings about a home. One may say, “the home is where the heart is” or “there is no place like home.” In the end, a home fulfills its duty: shelters, sustains, and calms.
Our goal: to provide shelter, sustain health, and create a conducive environment for the calming of four-legged souls and maybe even a human soul along the way. Living Grace Canine Ranch is a 501(c)(3) rescue/sanctuary providing well-care and life enrichment for sheltered ‘over-looked’ and ‘unadoptable’ senior canines, regardless of breed, physical, medical, or emotional challenges. Now, our ranch needs a permanent and physical home.
Now, imagine your own home. Is it warm? Were you safe from the wind outside? Did you have a place to call your sanctuary? I hope your answer to each of these questions is a resounding yes. We are working tirelessly to ensure our answers to these questions are a strong yes for each of our senior pups.
We have a foundation, four walls, and a roof thanks to many donors like you. It seems as if so much has been accomplished, yet so much is still to be done. Our doors are to be flung open wide, as if to be arms stretched open for a long-awaited hug, in six short weeks. We need this home to be ready for 20 senior pups waiting to be rescued. But we cannot provide a long-awaited hug to each of these dogs without your help.
We are seeking aid in three ways:
- First, you can support and sponsor one of our three current residents by visiting their Cuddly profiles.
- Second, you can physically aid in the construction process by volunteering or supplying construction materials.
- Lastly and undoubtedly, the most important, we are asking that you support our senior dogs financially by bolstering our funds to build their forever home.
In six weeks, we aim to raise $40,000. That is about $6,600 to be raised a week. Our deadline is December 12th, and we need your help to pull off this Christmas miracle.
Please help us help our old dogs by creating a home that even you would be proud to come home to.
Thank you for caring and loving adoptive undesirable senior dogs that only desire to be loved, safe, and valued.
