One of the things that we love doing at Kilgore's Kids is building adaptive equipment for the special needs children in our organization. Each child is evaluated and then we build the adaptive equipment based on their specific needs. This enables them to be successful when participating in outdoor activities such as fishing, hunting, etc. One example of the adaptive equipment is joystick controlled shooting benches for parapalegic, quadrapalegic, and amputee hunters. We provide this equipment to them at no charge. Last year alone we provided adaptive equipment to over 100 individuals. We need to help to continue being able to do this.
