How Firm Thy Friendship! Ohio natives and Buckeye alums are teaming up to launch the Buckeye Friendship Fund to provide food, career services, and a night off from cooking for families impacted by the COVID-19 global pandemic.
How We're Helping
Non-profit organizations, Pocket Full of Poseys & The BRICC Foundry, will be feeding families who have been laid off or furloughed as a result of our current economic conditions.
Families in Dayton, Cincinnati, and Columbus will be gifted a $200 Kroger gift card, a meal from a local black-owned restaurant, professional resume writing services, and other career resources.
PFOP and BRICC’s response comes as Ohio approaches one million unemployment applications, a number expected to grow.
Applications for the Buckeye Friendship Fund will open April 29, 2020.
