"Brothers for Success provides us with safe space to talk about what we're going through. We meet every week and it has become an important part of my week, especially while we are remote learning." Luis, LEAP Student
About the Program
Brothers for Success is a peer support group for males of color. Members are high school and college students. As part of the group, high school students participate in weekly sessions focused on establishing trust and building group cohesion. Within the broader framework of college readiness, students explore issues, challenges and opportunities that are specific to young men of color.
Members of Sisters for Success are high school students who identify as female regardless of assignment at birth. We also welcome people who identify as non-binary or gender nonconforming and want to be in a female-identified environment. This is a welcoming “Brave Space” for anyone that feels they can benefit from the support of the group.
