Help us provide accessible arts to children during this time of COVID-19!
About our campaign:
Due to COVID-19 and the statewide shutdown of all non-essential workers, all of Arts For All's in-person programming has ceased until the foreseeable future, and as a result we are working with our Teaching Artists in creating new virtual content and media for our community, as we continue to transition into a digital age of learning.
Now, our community needs your help.
As our organization is committed to finding new ways to provide our essential arts programs for in-need children, we are continuing to offer art programs to families during the coronavirus crisis, be it virtually, or by finding ways to bring arts activities into their homes.
With your help, every dollar we raise will go towards:
1) Our newest initiative, in partnership with local South Slope coffee shop Roots Cafe (https://www.rootsbrooklyn.com/), is producing Arts For All activity books that will be delivered out to local families within the Brooklyn community. These packages will include arts supplies, such as coloring pencils or crayons, and will serve approximately 250 children from K-3 all over Brooklyn, who are in need of learning activities and the arts during this time of self-quarantine.
2) The development of new online teaching materials for our arts programs, including online videos and lesson plans, so that we can continue to provide our services to children, who now more than ever need the arts. By providing programming on our social media platforms and sending content to our school partners, we are working to reach as many children as possible through these resources.
3) Being able to pay our Teaching Artists, for all of the above and beyond work they've been committed to doing in keeping our programs afloat during this pandemic.
Please join us in supporting our campaign!
