Since 1985 Adoption by Gentle Care has assisted in the creation of over 2100 families. For years we have enjoyed celebrating these families at our Annual Reunion Picnic. Over the past several years there has been a downward trend in the number of adoptive placements that are occurring nationwide. As a result of these changing times, we had to make some difficult decisions related to our budget. One of those heartbreaking decisions was the cancellation of our picnic. We have received numerous inquires on how we might be able to revive this wonderful tradition. Most recently, we were contacted by Addison, an 11 year old adoptee. She has great memories of attending the picnic and reached out to us to see how she might be able to help us bring the picnic back. Addison is excited to start a fundraiser at her school and has graciously decided to donate those proceeds to the picnic fund. We were inspired by Addison and have decided to join her in her efforts to BRING BACK THE AGC REUNION PICNIC!
If we come together as a community of adoptive families and friends we can make this happen in 2019! If we are able to raise $5,000 by May 1st then we can throw a fantastic picnic this year! Would you join Addison and us in our efforts to reach this goal?
