As some of you might know, I’ve been serving on Fair Tide's Board of Directors for almost 2 years now, working with them to improve their social media and marketing strategy for the Fair Tide Thrift Store and for the organization as a whole.
Fair Tide, a 501-c non-profit based in Kittery, Maine, provides housing and case management to people who are homeless. Like many households and businesses, Fair Tide has taken a financial hit due to the pandemic. At the same time, the need for their services is greater than ever.
For the past five years, Fair Tide's Hike for the Homeless has consisted of a team of dedicated supporters who trek from the Seacoast of Maine to the summit of Mount Washington to raise funds for their mission. Two of those gentleman are going for the goal once again, and this year, I will be participating in my own ‘Hike for the Homeless’ to help raise money for this great cause and much needed services for our community.
I will be partaking in 3 separate hikes throughout the end of September and into October. The first being Mt. Major in Alton, NH (elev. 1,786 ft), Mt. Monadnock in Jaffrey, NH (elev. 3,165 ft), and finally Mt. Pierce in the White Mountains (elev. 4,310 ft)…. Working my way up, you see! Please support me on my hiking challenge and consider donating to this great organization. Thank you!
