Support Our Mission.
During this season of giving, The Bridging Tech Charitable Fund seeks to give over 400 children affected by homelessness their own devices for online-learning. Our devices not only allow children to attend classes and succeed in school, but they also help kids be kids and interact with friends and family members, improving their mental health during this period of isolation. Help us bridge the digital divide one holiday season at a time by donating to our Holiday Giving Campaign.
A History of Giving.
As you know, Bridging Tech successfully fundraised to fill the device need at two homeless shelters in San Francisco with over 300 laptops for learning this summer. Now, we are helping as many children affected by homelessness as possible in cities across the country, such as San Francisco, Los Angeles, Washington, DC, Boston, Chicago, Las Vegas, and Cleveland.
The Time is Now.
In the current state of COVID-19, remote learning is mandatory, so children who do not have the resources to purchase online-learning devices to attend classes will be held back a grade in school. This situation exacerbates prevalent systemic inequities. If you are passionate about education, advocacy, and equity, donate to our cause and hop on a call with us to learn how you can help the students we serve!
We wish you a warm and happy holiday season,
Our Team at The Bridging Tech Charitable Fund
Thank you for choosing to support our cause! In the past, less than 2% of donations have been used to cover overhead costs for The Bridging Tech Charitable Fund. Each one of our team members is a volunteer, which means that over 98% of your donations have gone toward giving laptops for learning. We have always strived to keep these overhead costs as low as possible, and we will continue to make sure that overhead costs do not exceed 5% of donations. The additional costs allow us to operate legally throughout the United States as a 501(c)(3) non-profit public charity and form educational partnerships to help the students we serve.
