Bridging the Gap: The Dire Situation in India and How You Can Help is an event sponsored by FPYC to raise money in hopes of providing aid for the COVID-19 outbreak in India.
Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, we, as a global community have faced unbearable losses. However, in an effort to bring some hope into the current sphere, and to do what we can to help, FPYC has launched Bridging the Gap! The proceeds from this event will be split between two non-profits, MissionOxygen and Feeding From Far, the latter being our partner for this event. MissionOxygen is a nonprofit run by private citizens in Dehli to provide oxygen concentrators, and Feeding From Far is a nonprofit which provides food for underprivileged communities during this trying time. Joining us, in support of this cause, will be John Paul Jose, a climate activist, global peace ambassador, and Fridays for Future youth leader, Aaliya Mithaiwala, Founder of Aaliya's Aid, and Kuhoo Tiwari, the program officer for Knowledge and Advocacy at OneFutureCollective, a nonprofit focused on the concept of radical justice. We will also be hearing from Congressman Raja Krishnamoorthi, who is a part of the COVID-19 task force in the United States. The FPYC team hopes you can make it to this event, and spread a little hope.
