I first met Brian when he was in highschool and I was working with his Dad, Paul on a project in Washington, DC. His Dad was a dear friend of mine and I was blessed to know him, Anne, Brian, Tom and Pete over the years. I watched Brian grow, through college, law school and then watched him take a risk on supporting a young Illinois Senator, named Barack Obama. Eventually Brian ended up in the White House working for President Obama and truly stuck gold in meeting Sandra, and then in time that were blessed with two little sweeties, their Daughters. Then one day I got a call from Brian. He told me he had ALS, he told me what the doctors predicted about his future. He also told me he was going to fight and never give up. He along with Sandra and some remarkable supporters created www.IAMALS.org and has succesfully raised millions of dollars in federal research funds for all those who have ALS. But now there is hope on the horizon that could find a cure for Brian and so many others. Brian and Sandra have never given up and neither are we. Please help us do what sometimes seem the impossible, find a cure for ALS that is scalable that could save the lives of so many. Please support this unique and immediate project. Be part of Brian's Hope. The best feeling in the world is to help someone that needs you!
