This past June, I had the opportunity to be a volunteer coordinator for the first annual Boston Frogman Swim Fundraiser benefiting the Navy SEAL Foundation, whose mission is to provide immediate and ongoing support and assistance to the Naval Special Warfare community and their families.
During the event, I had the pleasure of spending time with Gold Star families and heard their stories of loved ones who gave their lives serving our country. I felt grateful, and inspired. As a result, I made the decision to challenge myself to swim in the 2020 Tampa Bay Frogman Swim - a 5k open-water swim from St. Petersburg to Tampa Bay - and help raise awareness and funds for the Navy SEAL Foundation.
As many of you know, I am not a swimmer. This swim is a new adventure, and a big personal challenge for me, but I’m motivated by the opportunity to give back to this cause and show gratitude for the selfless service these soldiers and families have made for our freedom. I appreciate any support you can give as I take on the Tampa Frogman Swim on January 12th 2020. All contributions go directly towards my team’s goal for the Navy SEAL Foundation. Thank you in advance for your support!
