I’m excited to share that I just signed up for the 2020 United Airlines New York City Half Marathon!
Not only will I be focusing on my training for the next few months, but more importantly, I’m going to leverage all that training and hard work to help raise money for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF).
I am running for Team BCRF in honor of my late Aunt Kathy, who passed away this year after a long battle with breast cancer. Kathy was an incredible woman who was passionate about her family, food (the more butter the better!), and traveling the world.
I'm reaching out to everyone I know to help me raise $2,500 for breast cancer research. Any amount you can give is so appreciated.
HERE'S HOW YOU CAN CONTRIBUTE:
• Click the big DONATE NOW button and contribute anything you can to support BCRF on behalf of one of our runners.
• Click the JOIN THE TEAM button and start your own fundraising page to help raise funds for critical lifesaving research. Then share your fundraiser with all your amazing family and friends to spread the word.
Our BCRF Half Marathon team is diverse—we are breast cancer patients, survivors, family members, employees, supporters, allies, professionals, runners, non-runners, and even researchers. But what we have in common is one thing: the desire and dedication to do our part to help bring about a cure for breast cancer in our lifetime. For more than 25 years, BCRF-funded researchers have been at the forefront of nearly every significant breakthrough in understanding, preventing and treating the disease. We know that the answers continue to lie in science, and that the only thing standing in the way is research funding. With your help, together we can accelerate progress and achieve a world without breast cancer.
The Breast Cancer Research Foundation® is an independent 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization whose mission is to prevent and cure breast cancer by advancing the world's most promising research.
