The Breaktime Double Impact Initiative serves hundreds of nutritious meals each day to frontline healthcare/shelter workers and food insecure individuals in Boston while creating paid job opportunities for young adults experiencing homelessness.
Breaktime is a 501(c)(3) non-profit in Boston that is lifting young adults out of homelessness through transitional employment and empowerment programs. COVID-19 has dramatically changed all of our lives, but it has particularly affected this group that already faces so many challenges. Join us as we engage these young people in heroically supporting essential workers who continue to heal our community.

- Creating paid job opportunities for young adults experiencing homelessness
- Serving nutritious meals to healthcare workers and shelter workers at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Boston Healthcare for the Homeless Program, Boston Children’s Hospital, Pine Street Inn, and more
- Almost 7,000 meals served to date in partnership with Community Work Services and Off Their Plate
- Implementing rigorous safety and sanitization procedures and ensuring that all our young adults are staying in stable, single-unit housing
Breaktime is a 501(c)(3) non-profit based in Boston. All donations are tax-deductible and 100% will go towards investing in the futures of these incredible young people.
