Hi! We are Brandeis University's VoiceMale, a group of 14 goofy men from different years, majors, and families, and united by our love for music! Founded in 1994, we've had a lot of fun sharing our music live with the greater Boston area. We've also competed in the ICCA's and toured all over the US and internationally. However, we're perhaps best known in the a cappella community for our recorded music, for which we've been lucky to win several Contemporary A Cappella Recording Awards. In particular we've received a lot of attention from our group tradition of recording original songs, such as 2011's "Phoenix," 2009's "Time (Bring It On)" and "Please Don't Go," and 2003's "Caravan."
After a while without releasing any new material, VoiceMale is back in the recording studio working on our eighth full-length album! Like we've done in the past, we're thrilled to be working with some fantastic recorded a cappella professionals on this project, including legendary mixer Ed Boyer. For this project we want to take our group's previous music to the next level with one of the first ever a cappella albums more than half comprised of original music.
We are proud to present the lead single from our upcoming album, a song called "Breathless." The song, the first of several originals we're working on, was written and produced by Abram Foster '19 and is soloed by Brandon Less '19. We hope you enjoy our music and hope you will support the group with a donation towards our album. Your donation will go towards all recording costs: recording, editing, mixing and mastering. Every donation, no matter how big or small, makes a huge difference. Thank you for your support!
