Do you remember the presidential election of 2016?
Are you alive today?
So how do we remain connected and close when we disagree about things?
I have the perfect solution!* We learn how to dialogue. And then we magically remain connected and close while we disagree.
Join me for a delicious buffet brunch (pancakes, waffles, coffee, tea, OJ, bacon, fresh fruit, salad, eggs, casserole, etc.!) while engaging in dialogue.
Rev. Carrie Graham is the founder and Senior Pastor of The Church Lab - a non-profit organization that is focused on interfaith dialogue. Carrie facilitates dialogue, trains other facilitators, writes, speaks, preaches, and leads in a variety of ways. Her one goal is connection among difference.
During our Bottomless Dialogue Brunch Carrie will offer some practical tools for building relationships with people you know who are different (religion, politics, etc) while you experience a taste of what interfaith dialogue looks like. This will be an empowering experience where you can see the value of connecting with others and walk away with actual methods for doing so.
Ready to attend? Submit your $10 donation to The Church Lab here.
The space is limited to 25 people.
Anyone is welcome.
*"Perfect Solution" is satirical and an exaggeration. I hope for great things to occur during our brunch discussion. I'm also in relationships and they are hard. I have to work at them. Even when I feel close and connected to someone, there's invariably something that comes up to pull us apart again. I have to keep working, learning, trying, growing, and being brave. Therefore, perfect solution is my aspiration!
