I am so excited to be running the 2020 Boston Marathon!!! It has been my dream for so long to run a marathon, and I am honored to be running in Boston. More importantly, I am so excited to be running for the Boston Public Library.
Located down the street from my office, the Boston Public Library has been a large part of my life these last few years. Right in the heart of Back Bay, the BPL is where I spent hours and hours studying for my exams. It offers a wonderful space for people to go to in order to read, study, access the internet, technology, and so much more, all free of cost. The BPL has so much to offer, and I am so happy to support this organization so close to my heart.
Boston Public Library has a Central Library, twenty-five branches, map center, business library, and a website filled with digital content and services. Established in 1848, the Boston Public Library has pioneered public library service in America. It was the first large free municipal library in the United States, the first public library to lend books, the first to have a branch library, and the first to have a children’s room. Each year, the Boston Public Library hosts thousands of programs and serves millions of people. All of its programs and exhibitions are free and open to the public. At the Boston Public Library, books are just the beginning. To learn more, visit bpl.org.
I would love nothing more than your support during this journey. Thank you so much, and I look forward to all of the training and learning and growing this winter and spring. See you at the finish line!
