Running the Boston Marathon has been a lifetime dream of mine that I thought I would never achieve because as a 4-hour marathoner, I'm a whole hour too slow to qualify.
I'm so excited to be running the 2020 Boston Marathon as part of the Boston Public Library charity team!
I'm really excited to raise money for the BPL because libraries are really among the coolest public institutions we have. They provide free access to so much knowledge, and do a lot of other great work. The BPL helps people find jobs, provides programming for teens, including foster youth, and a lot more. You can read about all awesome the stuff they do on their website. https://www.bpl.org/
I have a fundraising goal of $7500. Here is the breakdown of my fundraising plan.I'm aiming for
50 $10 donations (paperback level)
40 $20 donations (hardcover level)
30 $50 donations (bestseller level)
20 $100 donations (Newbury medal level)
10 $200 donations (Pullitzer Prize level)
1 $1000 donation (Nobel Prize level)
