Welcome to My Fundraising Journey...
Hi, I'm Dave and I absolutely love Boston! As a U.S. Air Force member and civil-servant for over 23 years, I have lived all over the world; however, there is no place like Boston! I am running the 2020 Boston Marathon in support of the Boston Public Library. Who doesn't love the library? I chose to help raise funds for BPL because of the FREE services, lessons, resources, books, etc. they provide to the nearly 4 million visitors every year. Most impacted are the after school and literacy programs for the less-fortunate among us.
Please help by donating whatever you can afford. Together we can help make a direct impact to the next generation. Thank You.
About the Library:
Boston Public Library has a Central Library, twenty-five branches, map center, business library, and a website filled with digital content and services. Established in 1848, the Boston Public Library has pioneered public library service in America. It was the first large free municipal library in the United States, the first public library to lend books, the first to have a branch library, and the first to have a children’s room. Each year, the Boston Public Library hosts thousands of programs and serves millions of people. All of its programs and exhibitions are free and open to the public. At the Boston Public Library, books are just the beginning. To learn more, visit bpl.org.
