All of us want to enter the new year on a high note and, if you are like me, nothing beats a great feeling of making a difference.
My name is Txong and as a local farmer, I am fortunate to do what I love thanks to support of the people of Boston. For over a decade now, you have been purchasing my produce at the farmers markets and the same is true for other farmers in our community. I now want to return the favour by fundraising for an organization which benefits us all.
Currently, I am training for the Boston Marathon as a charity runner, aiming to raise $7,500 to support one of the city´s main focal points and community spaces, the Boston Public Library.
The funds raised will be used to cover expenses for children´s after-school programs and other activities, which, true to the Library’s mission, are always “Free to All.” To learn more about the BPL and its services, visit the website at https://www.bpl.org/
Become one of my sponsors and help Boston Public Library inspire the young minds.

Boston Public Library has a Central Library, twenty-five branches, map center, business library, and a website filled with digital content and services. Established in 1848, the Boston Public Library has pioneered public library service in America. It was the first large free municipal library in the United States, the first public library to lend books, the first to have a branch library, and the first to have a children’s room. Each year, the Boston Public Library hosts thousands of programs and serves millions of people. All of its programs and exhibitions are free and open to the public. At the Boston Public Library, books are just the beginning. To learn more, visit bpl.org.
