These two amazing ladies will be raising funds for the Natick Center Cultural District which is a private-public partnership, between the Town of Natick and managed by Natick Center Associates. This nonprofit organization is comprised of property owners, retail and office workers, concerned neighbors, town officials, nonprofits and corporations with a history of more than 40 years working together for downtown revitalization. We host events such as ArtWeek, Natick Nights, Multicultural day and many more events throughout the year. We support the local business through targeted marketing events and creating opportunities for them to promote to their businesses to the community. We fund public art projects as well as support our local art community. You may view more about us at www.natickcenter.org.
We're so incredibly grateful to these ladies for their time, dedication, wonderful spirit and willingness to run the marathon for the district!
The story of Ashley and Monica begins with two energetic women who met and became friends at Orangetheory Fitness in Natick Center. Add some personal goals, some big ideas and then a challenge between friends and you have the Ashley & Monica Team of 2019!
Here's a little about amazing Ashley Traniello PT, DPT, CPT, PN1:
Ashley is a Dr. of Physical Therapy, Head Coach for Orangetheory Fitness, and certified nutritionist. Shes lived in Natick for 5 years with her husband Joe and their dog Euro (recently married right on Natick Common!) She’s never considered herself a runner but excited to be given the opportunity to train and run for the town she now calls home. She’s inspired by the members she trains weekly as well as the many patients she’s helped return to the things they love, and plans on using that inspiration to carry her all 26.2 miles.
More about the marvelous Monica Vargas:
Monica is a Nurse Practitioner in Dermatology at UMass Medical Center, and she has been practicing as a Nurse for 10 years. She has lived in Natick for a year and a half with her husband Jon and their dog Oliver. She has always been passionate about working out and being healthy, but never imagined she would have the opportunity to run in the Boston Marathon. When she moved to Natick, she joined a local gym, Orangetheory Fitness, where she met Ashley and soon became close friends.
Representing the Natick Center Cultural District and Orangetheory is a great privilege and source of inspiration for Monica. She looks forward to training with Ashley and raising money for the Natick Center Cultural District. She is excited to help and represent her community, while accomplishing her goal of running the Boston Marathon!
Thank you Ashley and Monica, you inspire us!
