Boston Marathon 2018 - Boston Fire Department Children's Fund
So this is really happening!!!! This year I have the honor of participating in the 122nd Boston Marathon with the Boston Fire Department to help raise funds for the Children's Fund. I am honored to be a part of this team, excited to start this journey and cross the finish line on Boylston St.
As I prepare to tackle this historical 26.2 mile course, I am asking for your support to achieve my goal of raising $3,000. By donating, you will be providing support directly to children in Boston who have been adversely affected by fires. Any donation towards helping me reach my goal and supporting this great cause is greatly appreciated!
In 2006 Flt. Robert Kilduff formed the Children’s Fund to assist Boston area children that felt the pain of losing all of their belongings due to fire during the holiday season. Within days the fund provided checks to the families to help replace articles that were destroyed in the fire. Since its inception, the fund has also reached out to help neighborhood little leagues, church groups, playgrounds and many other groups which contribute to the children of Boston.
The Boston Fire Department Children’s fund is a recognized 501c3 charity (Tax ID # is 205803258) and 100% tax deductible.
