Boston College Timmy Global Health works alongside a partner organization, 32 Volcanoes, in Xela, Guatemala to raise money to provide medical services to people who may otherwise not receive it.
Each year, our chapter is responsible for raising at least $3,000.00 that goes directly to our partner clinic.
Every August, a team of BC students goes to Guatemala to volunteer in a medical clinic in five different communities. During the week, we can see over 100 patients each day.
Each patient receives the medical care that they need. With the help of our fundraising efforts, we are able to provide vitamins, prescriptions, and referrals for further care to all patients.
Everything that we fundraise in our chapter ensures that every patient receives the medical care that they need during clinic and that they can continually get care even after our medical brigade.
32 Volcanoes also offers nutrition programs, cooking classes, and clean water programs to patients throughout the year. They would not be able to do this without our fundraising efforts.
Please consider donating to the Boston College Timmy Global Health chapter so that we can continue to make a difference in the lives of many individuals.
