Parent-infant reading is an important part of building communication and literacy skills and has important impacts on school readiness. Reading also promotes positive parent-infant interactions and bonding, which can be especially important for NICU (neonatal intensive care unit) babies and parents who are often faced with significant stressors related to a baby's medical condition. My goal is to raise $1000 by December 2021 in order to purchase new books for NICU babies and their parents to promote reading and parent-infant bonding! All funds will go directly to the purchase of new books for NICU families at Brigham and Women's Hospital NICU. Please consider making a donation! Thank you for your generosity!
