Back in high school I used to run for myself and for my team. After years of just running to stay in shape, I have decided to run for those who are battling cancer and their loved ones who are supporting them. As you get older, you cannot turn a corner without knowing or meeting someone battling cancer. Running 13.1 miles is the least I can do for those that are truly running the biggest race of their life...the race to fight and beat cancer.
I haven't been part of a team in a long time and now I am honored to be running for the Bone Marrow & Cancer Foundation. They are dedicated to improving the quality of life for cancer and transplant patients and their families by providing vital financial assistance, comprehensive resources, educational information, physician referrals and emotional support programs.
I appreciate any monetary donation you are able to make, thank you in advance.
