Bombero (firefigher in Spanish) is a male dog rescued from the streets of Guatemala. He was found laying by the side of a busy highway by a group of volunteer firefighters. He was unable to move and in severe pain. A car had hit him a few days before and left him for dead.
Vet evaluation confirmed a broken ligament on his knee that required surgery. This was done immediately despite lacking the monetary funds to help aid with the pain and avoid atrophy of the legs. He was hospitalized for more than three weeks to offer the rest and proper care needed.
Bombero is now at the shelter and is still recovering but is on a great path. We are raising the funds needed to help him pay his veterinary bill of $590. Please consider making a small donation to help him start a new life free from suffering and debt. He has suffered enough.
