Welcome to our Season Kickoff Fundraiser!
Why October?
To avoid bombarding our supporters with email on Giving Tuesday – when many other nonprofits are also communicating with patrons – we’re moving our season fundraiser to October 16.
Our Goal
We’re hoping to raise $15,000. Will you help us with a small gift of $10, 25 or more?
We are continually grateful for the impact of the many individuals who support our company. Every donation counts and every BOC supporter is helping us bring important and powerful storytelling to the Boston community.
About BOC
At a time when our communities are deeply divided along lines of class, race, gender and political party, Boston Opera Collaborative is dedicated to bringing people together to share an artistic experience – to tell stories that raise questions, create joy, promote dialogue, build community, and encourage audiences to think about what it means to be human.
This season, we’re presenting the Boston premiere of The Scarlet Ibis – an opera about a remarkable disabled boy and the ability to soar above physical limitations -- and a thrilling contemporary production of Don Giovanni, as well as our annual production of Opera Bites, a feast of new 10-minute operas.
About 60% of our modest budget is generated through contributions.
