Join us in a charity fundraiser for Project 150!
Project 150 was established in 2011 when a local news story covered 150 homeless high school students at Rancho High School in Las Vegas. The concern was how these students would have access to food and basic necessities over the Christmas break while away from the classroom. This quickly caught the attention of two local business who gathered some friends and together they collected and donated over $10,000 in gift cards, food, and clothing to assist the students. The story and effort didn’t end there, after learning that many of our local high schools were facing the same situation, homeless high school students, Project 150 was born to help homeless, displaced, and disadvantaged high school students receive basic necessities to ensure they remain in school, graduate and build a successful future.
Project 150 provides weekly deliveries to 63 southern Nevada high schools – we deliver food, hygiene products and school supplies to over 4000 high school students each academic year. In addition, we operate a trendy Boutique where students receive FREE clothing and additional food, hygiene and school supplies. All with only a high school student ID.
OUR MISSION: To provide support and services to homeless, displaced, and disadvantaged high school students so they can remain in school, graduate, and build bright futures.
