The Child Advocacy Center is a place of healing and hope.
“Why did this have to happen to me?”
“I’m too embarrassed to tell you about it.”
“It must have been my fault.”
“I don’t trust anybody now.”
After children and teens are abused, they are left feeling confused, hurt, worthless, hopeless, and scared. We are here to help them find their voice.
The Child Advocacy Center of Marshall County is a non-profit organization that provides services to child victims of abuse and their families. We serve approximately 275 new clients each year while continuing to serve our existing clients. We aid in the investigation of child physical and sexual abuse by providing forensic interviews. The CAC also employs licensed therapists who provide counseling and court prep for these clients.
Due to COVID-19, the CAC has been unable to hold its annual fundraisers; however, there has been no interruption of services, as child abuse doesn't stop. We recently purchased a new building that better serves our community and have financial needs surrounding this. We appreciate your donation to our agency.
