BLIGHT PATROL needs you.

We need your help to raise $20,000 to continue keeping Memphis safe and healthy. The Lifeline to Success Blight Patrol works daily to rid the city of unsightly property nuisances like overgrown lawns and littered vacant lots. We clean streets, collect litter, and most importantly, cut 183 right-of-ways/median, cut the perimeter of 110 schools and hundreds of vacant lots calls annually to improve area-property values, eliminate safety hazards, and reduce crime in abandoned areas.

After a sharp increase in safety and health concerns during COVID-19, we (as city essential workers) have worked two of our lawnmowers beyond repair. Our patchwork fixes can no longer withstand the increased workload. Without the 2 mowers, we could not meet our obligation thus losing the contract. Even if we attempted repair again, the turnaround time is at least 6-8 weeks. Please support our work and help purchase 2 John Deere Zero Turn mowers, with service warranties, by donating $25 - $100 today!
