Help us support our community during this time of need.
We are making free masks for our community of women and their families including healthcare and first responders! We are also supporting the city of Chicago "City Wide Cloth Mask Drive" aimed at providing homeless shelters and community health clinics with more coronavirus protection.
We need your help on behalf of our non-profit organization, Blessons for Women, for supplies needed to make these masks and your contribution will make an impact, whether you donate $5 or $500. Every little bit helps.
Thank you for your support. More information about Blessons for Women below.
Since its inception in July 2016, Blessons for Women has continued to advance women economically through trade skilled jobs. We provide scholarships to women over 25 who have had challenges in completing a higher education or continuing training.
Through skilled trade jobs, women are able to break through their past challenges and support themselves and their families financially and emotionally thanks to our free programs.
Each month we provide free wellness clinics and professional development workshops to women who are 18 years old and older, including women support groups to enhance mental health awareness. We have now moved our programs to online only includng our Blessons Women's Circle to continue providing mental health resources for women and their families.
Women who have had their education put on hold due to challenging life lessons such as but not limited to;
● mental health conditions
● physical or emotional abuse,
● isolation due to sexual orientation
● who are first-generation female immigrants
● sex trafficking/forced marriages
● those experiencing financial hardship due to Covid-19
are able to turn their wounds into wisdom. This is only possible because of thoughtful contributions from people like you.
Once again thank you for your very generous donation. To learn more about us, please visit www.blessons.org and follow us @herblessons.
