As the world is turned upside down at the moment, a lot of us are fortunate enough to have some sort of support to weather this storm, but there are many who don't. As such, I'm grateful to say I have the opportunity to join Blankets of Hope (BoH), a 501(c)3 nonprofit, which works w/ schools across the country alongside teachers who helps their students practice empathy & kindness by donating blankets - each paired w/ an inspirational handwritten note - to those experiencing homelessness.
BoH was founded by a close friend of mine, Nick Fiorito and his brother Mike. These guys have truly inspired me and countless others with their relentless mission to change the world, one blanket at a time. More about their incredible story at the link above.
Goal: To deliver 1000 Blankets of Hope this season to those in need. At $5 a blanket, we need to fundraise $5K. It's truly incredible how something as simple as a warm blanket and a note from a stranger can instill hope for an individual to keep fighting. A small act can make a big difference. Please help spread the word! And if you can, it would mean the world if you considered passing on that Mocha Frappuccino at Starbucks and help to support this cause.
