In partnership with VisionSpring and the Church of Christ in Congo - North Kivu, Marcia D. Turner Foundation is distributing more than 1,000 new reading glasses to address high rates of vision impairment and unemployment among Ebola survivors. Your contribution will support the launch of three vision camps in North Kivu Province, Democratic Republic of the Congo. Vision camps allow an entire community to receive a free screenings, and allows people making less than $4 per day to purchase eyeglasses. The impact of corrected vision is increased productivity and incomes. This is an opportunity to shine a light in the darkness. North Kivu has experienced conflict, Ebola and Covid-19 in the last few months.
