"Mental health needs to be talked about.
Suicide prevention is a cause that has been near and dear to my heart for a number of years now. I have known too many people who have gone on to take their own lives. I want to make a difference in the hearts and minds of people who are suffering. I hope that you’ll team up with me in providing mental health education on campuses nation-wide.
Being a professional athlete can sometimes feel like a selfish job. I want everything I do to have a purpose. I want every birdie I make to mean something. For this season, I ask that you pledge any amount that you can per birdie that I make. You will be notified after tournaments how many I have made and you can make your donation then!
We got this. Together.
'You don’t have to be a superhero. You don’t have to save the world. It’s okay if you only save one person. And it’s okay if that person is you.'"

"Suicide is one of the hardest things to talk about. I get it, I’ve struggled being able to talk about it as well. I know the more we talk about it we will be able to show people that they are not alone in this world and there are people that will do anything to help them. There is always someone that will walk with you and carry you during all parts of your life.
Suicide touched my life in 2012 as it took my best friend. I want to make sure that no more families, or friends have to go through what we went through. I hope all of you can help out by donating for each birdie made in tournament play. More importantly, let’s talk about it and make sure everyone knows they are not alone and there are people that care for them and will always carry them in the hardest parts of their life."
