As the home of the Judgement Free Zone®, Planet Fitness is committed spreading kindness and inclusion in partnership with Boys & Girls Clubs. The effort is part of the company's Judgement Free Generation® philanthropic initiative, which aims to empower youth to contribute to a more judgement free planet– a place where everyone feels accepted and like they belong.
Since 2016, Planet Fitness has contributed more than $5 million to Boys & Girls Clubs of America, reaching more than 1,200 Clubs in all 50 states with staff and youth trainings to shape cultures where youth feel emotionally safe. The company has also awarded $275,000 in scholarships to youth who promote inclusion in their communities, and together with the generous support of its franchisees, built 30 welcoming and inclusive fitness centers in Boys & Girls Clubs-- including one that opened in May 2019 at the Boys & Girls Club of Dorchester's Paul R. McLaughlin Youth Center.
