Bella was born on January 14,2010.She was born with spina bifida, Hydrocephalus and hydronephosis. She had her first major surgery to close her back up 4 hrs after birth, and brain surgery to insert a shunt about 7 days after. We got to take her home for about one week, then she spent the whole month of February in the hospital for an infection.
Bella has had around 10 surgeries and numerous procedures throughout her 10 years of life. Even though she has spent many weeks in hospitals and numerous blood draws and ivs.Bella always has a gracious smile on her face . She is always happy to see her doctors and has a positive attitude .
Bella is a very friendly, outgoing, artistic and sassy girl. Bella really enjoys going on the runs with Ainsley's Angels and cant wait to see who she will be with next. Bella loves the feeling of being outdoors with amazing people that shares her love of adventure. Her outgoing personality and love for life drives her to try new things and be a part of a team. She has attended sports camp the last two years and tried rock climbing ,swimming ,hand cycling and basketball. Her being able to get a chariot would really help motivate her to step out of her comfort zone and be with her friends outside.
By having a chariot this would help our family get active together ,but most important motivate Bella. To see our daughter smile and the excitement she gets during the runs, we would love to have that in her everyday life outdoors. We live close to a bike trail ,so that would be a wonderful place to take her too so we can be active together as a family. We would love to take bella to a spot on the trail that looks beautiful during sunset. Many of her friends parents have reached out to me and invited her. It breaks our heart to say no because of where its located on the bike trail. We feel with the chariot we could finally say yes and take her to that beautiful spot where her friends gather. Thank you for considering our beautiful and outgoing hero Bella.
