The craft beer industry needs your help.
Craft breweries have announced an average of 65% drop in sales since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic almost 2 months ago. Many have had to lay off or furlough the majority of their staff. 46% of breweries anticipate they can only survive 1-3 months given the current operational restrictions.
These are scary and sobering statistics. But we don’t want dwell on the negative. We want to inspire hope.
And we’re doing just that with the Believe in Beer Relief Fund. Together with the Brewers Association, we’ve created this campaign to raise funds for the craft beer community. Beginning April 24 through the end of June, beer lovers can contribute to the fund and share the campaign.
There are over 8,000 craft breweries operating in the US right now. We want to see them continue and thrive.
If you've ever enjoyed a craft beer at home or at a brewery with friends, please consider making a donation. We can and WE WILL save this industry.
Even a donation as little as $5, less than the cost of a draft beer, from every brewery patron would get us closer to our goal.
***For corporate donations, or donations larger than $5,000, please contact Bottleshare at email@example.com to directly to submit your donation.
Relief funds will be available to breweries and state guilds that demonstrate immediate financial need due to COVID-19 and meet the outlined criteria.
Those in need can find more information at https://www.thebottleshare.org/breweries-and-guilds and apply for a grant at https://www.thebottleshare.org/grant-application. Bottleshare will review applications and select recipients based on need.
