Hi, friend! Thanks for checking out my fundraising page.
My name is Becca. I am a runner, a yogi, and a social justice advocate. I believe we all deserve access to opportunities and resources and I work tirelessly to share what I know and support others in their journey, whatever that is.
In May 2020, I will run a 200 mile ultramarathon called Run Across Haiti®. This is a 7 day adventure to challenge my perceived physical and mental limitations in order to bring awareness and services to families living in Menelas, Haiti. I will join 35 other athletes in this event, including 6 others from my home of Philadelphia, PA USA.
WORK is the nonprofit that hosts this crazy ultramarathon. Work accompanies families in Haiti out of poverty through good, dignified jobs. The organization works in one community in Port-au-Prince, Haiti called Menelas, where they work block by block providing wrap around services that include access to health care, education, food assistance and job training/placement. They believe in the power of work and the impact it has on an individual, a family, and their community.

Help me reach my $7,000 goal! ALL donations are much appreciated.
Thank you so much for your generosity and support!
With Love and Gratitude,
May: Since the pandemic, we are doing a virtual and solo run across the month of May to cover the 200 plus miles we would have done in Haiti. In January 2021, I will be in Haiti to do the actual run!
