Progressive Transition(s), Inc. ensures that these women receive services and care that are otherwise not readily available to them.

#Because domestic/intimate partner violence, human trafficking, sexual exploitation, and sexual assault are all forms of VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN.
#Because 40% of women experience physical intimate partner violence in their lifetime.
#Because victims of sexual exploitation are treated as criminals and not victims by some law enforcement agencies.
#Because over the past three years, Progressive Transition(s), Inc. has received over 300 referrals for services for these victims from Alameda and surrounding Bay Area counties.
#Because victims over the age of 18 have limited access to the services needed to address their trauma, mental health and victimization; Progressive Transition(s), Inc. is the only provider of services to women over the age of 18 in the Bay Area.
#Because Progressive Transition(s), Inc. is headquartered minutes away from, "The Track," Oakland's International Boulevard and San Pablo Avenue which are hubs for prostitution, sex trafficking and sexual exploitation we are accessible to those who need us most.
#Because Progressive Transition(s), Inc. has dedicated itself to helping these victims/survivors of domestic violence, human trafficking, sexual exploitation, and sexual assault begin to live violence free lives.
#Because through our programs and services, participants identify and address the trauma associated with their past and begin to develop a "blueprint" that will address their immediate needs and achieve their long term goals.
