My life changed on August 8, 2019 when my radiologist confirmed my fears, yes, the lump I'd detected a few days before was indeed breast cancer. My friend and colleague Michael Shapot suggested I call Sharsheret. I am so very grateful for his suggestion, and for all the amazing people at Sharsheret who got me through those weeks prior to my surgery, and who continue still to provide support, hope and love. I welcome you all to join me in supporting this extraordinary organization
