The need for self isolation and stay at home laws are disturbing for many domestic violence and sexual abuse victims. Because home is where their abusers are. The Beacon of Hope Crisis Center was created to help survivors and victims of domestic violence /sexual abuse to become independent and self sufficient. The Center provides a place where survivors and victims can call to get immediate access to legal help, and safe shelter from their abusers. Beacon of Hope also provides for the sheltering of pets that the survivor/victim may need to bring with them.
Beacon of Hope Crisis Center is a 501(c)(3) established in 2007 and we opened our doors providing services to the public in 2009. As of 2018 we are serving an average of 75 individuals a month in need of domestic violence and/or sexual assault victim assistance. Which translates to about 900 individuals annually. Help us to help survivors/victims gain indepence and self-sufficiency.
