You are invited to the Young Musical Geniuses 2020 Summer Concert. Young Musical Geniuses of Birmingham is an Alabama affiliate of the National Federation of Music Clubs which is the largest Philanthropic Musical Organization in the world. Our mission is to work as a grassroots organization in the Greater Birmingham Community of Alabama providing musical opportunities for all ages: professional and student musicians, benefactors, volunteers, music lovers, music teachers, music students, and supportive parents. The activities of our organization include music festival programs, competitive events, community outreach, and engaging with music lovers in the community. Young Musical Geniuses of Birmingham serves in an educational capacity, teaching young people to read & write music, to compose, to sing, and to play music. While teaching specific music skills, our objective is to address the growth and development of the total young musician/artist. Leadership skills, public speaking, and Robert's Rules of Order are taught through scheduled music club meetings. Public speaking skills are further enhanced through participation in the annual informance and masterclasses. Performance opportunities through the Hymns Festivals, Piano Solo auditions and a major concert in the summer. Our long term goal is to develop and nurture a lifelong appreciation of the musical arts in the citizens of our community. The Summer Concert is an opportunity to engage with the greater community while enhancing the appreciation and enjoyment of the arts for both students and the community.

Young Musical Geniuses is a 501c3 organization and donations support the presentation of performances, community service activities, and scholarships for students in need of tuition assistance.
