Due to Covid-19, Bikini Beach Cat Rescue had to cancel all their fundraising activities for 2020; but the request from our residents has increased. We need your help to continue our work!
Many local people provide food and shelters to abandoned/feral cats and kittens; but cannot afford the cost of a spay/neuter procedure to eliminate the growth of cat colonies. These individuals when possible, trap, foster, vet, and seek adoptees for the cats and kittens. However, most of the cats captured are surrendered to government shelters, only to be euthanized within the first 48 hours. We currently are affiliated with St. Francis Animal Center to subsidize spay/neuter cat surgeries under their feral cat TNR Program. Additionally, BBCR works with local veterinarians to provide these services at reduced costs. Since our inception, we have provided over 8000 free and low-cost procedures for residents in Horry and Georgetown Counties.
Please help us stop the heartbreak of abandoned cats and surplus kittens born each year. All funds raised by Bikini Beach Cat Rescue go toward low-cost spay/neuter clinics to help animal parents and caretakers of feral cat colonies in need of assistance. Bikini Beach Cat Rescue is an all-volunteer, 501 (c) 3 corporation and donations are tax deductible.
Have a happy holiday season and thank you.
