The Bay Village Education Foundation was formed in 1985 by a group of Bay Village community leaders & parents in order to support creative programs in the Bay Village School District. It is an independent, not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization run by an elected Board of Trustees. Our mission is to support, promote and fund programs created by students, faculty and staff in the Bay Village Public Schools that are not funded by tax dollars. The programs encompass all areas of the public school curriculum and provide an opportunity to enhance enthusiasm for learning.
Grants awarded by the Foundation fund growing technology and resource needs and provide an enhanced level of excitement and enthusiasm among the students, faculty and staff in their joint pursuit of knowledge.
Some of our recent projects include the Normandy Library Transformation, The Lü Interactive Playground at Westerly, The Maker Space at the Middle School and the High School Video Production Studio.
Money raised from this capital campaign will help fulfill future grants and large scale projects that will benefit the Bay Village Schools.
