Banned On the Run FUNDRAISER:
When Soroush Hatami and Daniel Sellers first planned to travel from Canada to the U.S. to run the 2018 Boston Marathon together, they thought their greatest challenge would be meeting Boston's difficult qualifying standards. But on the day Donald Trump was elected president, Soroush's Iranian citizenship suddenly became an additional obstacle. Both friends have now qualified and registered for the race, but because of Trump's travel ban, it's unclear if Soroush will be allowed to cross the border to participate. As they train for the marathon, Soroush and Daniel are raising money to fight this offensive and discriminatory policy.
