Balwinder Singh, unexpectedly passed away on Thursday, June 11th, 2020 at the age of 48. He leaves behind his beloved wife, Davinder, of 14 years, his 12-year-old daughter, Kiran, and 11-year-old son, Samuel. Balwinder migrated from India with his family to the United States in January 2019, with the hopes of giving them a bright future. He wanted his children to have a good education and life. However, because of COVID-19, this family was plunged into financial devastation, that has been further increased by Balwinder’s sudden death due to a heart condition. Because Balwinder and his wife were unable to work for the past 3 months due to the pandemic, this loss is all the more difficult and compounded with the burden of funeral expenses and many worries for their well-being and provision in the coming days.
This GoFundMe account has been set up to help the family with his burial expenses and living costs as they adapt to life without his financial support. In the wake of this profound loss, and in honor of a good-hearted man that lived to help and bless us, we ask that you would consider contributing to the urgent needs of this devastated immigrant family.
Balwinder Singh was a very hardworking man and made countless sacrifices throughout his life to help and support his extended family and many who were in need. He always put the needs of others above his own and exampled true humility, compassion, a pure faith in God and a genuine love for people and life. In a world where authentic relationships and connections are rarely found, Balwinder was truly a gem of a person with a heart of gold. He always exuded a sincere warmth and tenderness that was welcoming and comforting to all. You could never catch him without a smile. He loved spending time with people, made it his mission to help those in need and delighted in making others smile and laugh. His honesty, kind-heartedness, forgiving nature and his willing sacrifices on behalf of many will never be forgotten. Balwinder was dearly loved and respected by all who were blessed to meet and know him.
Balwinder was a loving father, a supportive husband, a faith-filled servant of humanity and a pure soul who was taken from us far too soon. He was a true family man who always exampled compassion, faithfulness, forgiveness, and selflessness in his home. His children are indeed a testimony of the investment he has made as a loving father. Even still, his love and virtues extended beyond his home. He was never too busy to stop for anyone in need. His loss will be felt for a very long time and his physical absence among us leaves a hole in our hearts that can never be filled.
May God abundantly bless you for your kindness and generosity toward Balwinder’s family.
