Welcome to my fundraising page for the Boston Athletic Association's (B.A.A).
It is a great privilege to have been chosen to fundraise for the B.A.A for 2020!
As everyone knows, I enjoy my running and as part of the fundraising I will also be running the Boston marathon in April 2020. I have also been encouraged to see that both my daughters Isla & Emily take to the running with their daily mile at school.
The B.A.A also helps support children by bringing a healthy lifestyle through sports, especially running. I know first hand how running can be important to a balanced mind and body and the B.A.A have created many ways for children to be encourged to use sports for a better lifestyle balance.
By April 2020 I am looking to raise a whopping £8,000 (around $10,000).

Why am I fundraising for B.A.A?
Established in 1887, the Boston Athletic Association’s (B.A.A.) mission is to promote a healthy lifestyle through sports, especially running. The B.A.A. is committed to furthering its mission by bringing the benefits of running and healthy lifestyles to the greater community. Funds raised by the B.A.A. Charity Team will strengthen the B.A.A.’s community initiatives while also providing essential support to expand access to our sport in the cities and towns along the Boston Marathon course and beyond. Current initiatives include:
- Boston Marathon Youth Jamboree
- Boston Middle School Cross Country Championship
- Road to Wellness 5K in Roxbury
- Mayor's Cup Cross Country Youth Races
- B.A.A. Relay Challenge
- Boston Scholastic Cross Country League
- Boston Parks & Recreation Programs
