I am so excited and honored to run my first Boston Marathon as a part of the B.A.A. (Boston Athletic Association) Charity.
I have wanted to run this marathon since I was 12 years old. I have long awaited the year that I would finally be old enough to run. I turned 18 this year and the B.A.A. has allowed me to fulfill this goal! I could not be more grateful for this opportunity.
Running has had such a strong impact on my life. Staying fit and being healthy has always been an important part of who I am. Running truly is about so much more than physical capability. It is about hard work, determination, and passion. I hope to help promote this message alongside the B.A.A.
The Boston Marathon certainly holds a special place in my heart just as it does for many others. #BOSTONSTRONG
