Let's do it!
That was my answer when my friend propose we run the Big Sur International Marathon. The true is I'm not a runner...not at all! However, I will always be up for a challenge, which doesn't even compare to the challenge young adults diagnosed with cancer face everyday. I am proud to run for a cause and be part of the Allyson Whitney Foundation Squad.
Did you know...72,000 young adults are diagnosed EVERY Year with unique obstacles compared to other age groups. Young Adult survival rates have not improved in over 20 years.
Allyson Whitney Foundation is a VOLUNTEER organization, so proceeds of donations goes directly to fund Life Interrupted Grants, to lend a hand with medical and living expenses and shine a spotlight on young adult cancers.
How your donation helps:
$20 -$100 Super SUPPORTER! Providing a coffee/tea gift card or a HOPE comfort bag for a cancer patient.
$500 - $1,000 You're a CHAMPION in the hearts of our warriors, lending a hand with medical bills, a month's rent & alliviated stress.
$1,500 YOU are a LUMINARY, bringing light, by providing a full 'Life Interrupted Grant'
I can't wait( but still have a lot of training to do !) to cross the finish line on April 26th and make a little difference in another's life.
Thank you so much!
