We are celebrating #AuthenticMe!
For Transgender Day of Visibility 2021, on March 31st, Transcend Charlotte invites you to join our our #AuthenticMe Campaign to celebrate the Authentic You!
There is no right way to be you - and we want to celebrate our authentic selves!
How to join us:
1) Create a short personal video (30-60 seconds) celebrating your authentic self. You can do this with words, poetry, fashion, song, dance (TikTok), art or other forms of expression -- there is no “right” way to express the authentic you!
2) Start your video by saying “This Is Authentic Me”
We encourage you to share this campaign on your social media and if you have the means, donate!
We need your support to continue to serve the transgender and gender expansive community in North and South Carolina.
Thank you for contributing to this campaign!
Transcend Charlotte was founded in 2015 with the mission to pursue equity and social justice for transgender and gender expansive communities through education, advocacy, mental health and social support services.
Our vision is a world where people of all gender identities live their authentic truth, free from discrimination and oppression.
To achieve this mission and vision, we provide free and/or low-cost services to trans and gender-expansive youth and adults (ages 18±) in Mecklenburg, and the adjoining counties in North and South Carolina.
We are open and here to take your calls. If you need support in living your authentic truth and a life free from oppression, please contact us by visiting here.
