When I look at my dog, I am reminded that each of us might at one point in time have felt like an "underdog".
Some by choice, some by chance, or by circumstances experienced through no fault of our own.
It's because of this that I was inspired to host Pull for Pride Hamilton. A small gesture to regognize a need to continue to encourage, enable, inspire and motivate one another.
We are all more alike, then different. And, coming together to learn and celebrate all of our similarities and differences will always result in the betterment of each of us, hopefully elevating us from "underdog" to "wonderdog"!
Join us - Dundas Valley Power and Iron Sisters - at Pull for Pride Hamilton on Sunday June 23rd at the Dundas Driving Park, as a participant, volunteer, specatator, donator or, in whatever capacity you can.
Athena the Wonderdog will be there, too, along with many others, to celebrate all we can with our benefitting friends from the Hamilton Trans Health Coalition, and the Hamilton Community Legal Clinic's Queer Justice Project.
